Calcium Chloride Desiccant

Calcium chloride desiccant is a commonly used humidity-absorbing material, primarily used to adsorb moisture in the air and reduce humidity. Its main principles are as follows:
1. Hygroscopic Reaction: Calcium chloride has strong hydrophilicity. When exposed to humid air, it absorbs moisture from the surrounding environment through a hygroscopic reaction. This occurs because calcium chloride's structure contains hydrates that form compounds with environmental moisture, thereby adsorbing water.
2. Moisture Absorption Capaciy: As a desiccant, calcium chloride has high moisture absorption capacity and can continuously absorb humidity from the air until it reaches saturation.

Type A silica gel also known as Narrow pore silica gel, is transparent and translucent particles. It is divided into two types: spherical and block. The main component is SiO₂·nH₂O, insoluble in water and inorganic acid, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic soda solution. High mechanical strength, good wear resistance.The pore volume is 0.35-0.5ml/g, pore size 20-40Å, specific surface area ≥600㎡/g.

Blue silica gel has the adsorption and moisture-proof effect of narrow pore silica gel, It is characterized by the moisture absorption process, it can become light blue with the increase of moisture absorption, and finally become light red or light pink. It can indicate the humidity of the environment and also visually show whether a new desiccant needs to be replaced.

FNG Water Resistant Silica Gel

FNG water-resistant silica gel is white or off-white multi-microporous particles, the main component is SiO₂·nH₂O, Insoluble in water and inorganic acids, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic soda solutions. High mechanical strength. The product is made of general silica gel as raw material after further processing of heterogeneous shaped silica gel, it has the pore structure and adsorption properties of ordinary homogeneous silica gel at the same time also has good water resistance, that is, it does not burst in water, thus expanding the application field of silica gel.

The coarse pore microsphere silica gel is a milky white particle, the main component is SiO₂·nH₂O, insoluble in water and inorganic acid, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic soda solution. The pore volume is 0.80-1.30ml/g, pore size 80-120Å, specific surface area 300-550㎡/g.

Silica Gel for Flower Drying

Flower desiccant is a microporous silica material, that is safe, odorless, and has stable chemical properties. It exhibits excellent hygroscopic capacity. Combine with blue indicating silica gel or orange indicating silica gel, it smoisture absorption is visible, allowing for intuitive judgment of the drying state of flowers. Additionally, it is reusable.
Using this desiccant shortens the drying period for flowers and effectively maintains the original color and shape of the petals. After drying, the flowers or bouquets should be stored in a dry environment to prevent moisture absorption.

Silica gel decolorizing sand is produced from macroporous silica gel as raw material, with SiO₂ as the main component. It has stable chemical properties and does not react with other acids or base except concentrated caustic alkali solutions and hydrofluoric acid.
