Aluminum Alumina

Product Introduction
Character:
Alumina is a high-performance adsorbent, widely used in the deep drying of industrial gases and liquids. Activated alumina, after undergoing special processing, has a huge specific surface area and rich microporous structure, thus possessing extremely strong water absorption capacity. The properties of activated alumina desiccant are non-toxic, odorless, non-pulverizable, and insoluble in water. It has a strong ability to adsorb water in the form of white spherical particles.
Use:
A. Industrial gas drying (primary application)Compressed air drying: The air produced by factory air compressors contains a large amount of moisture. Through an activated alumina tower, the moisture can be removed to prevent rusting and freezing of pneumatic equipment.Special gas purification: Used for drying oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, natural gas, cracking gas, etc.Instrument air system: Ensures the absolute dryness of the control gas for precision instruments.
B. Liquid drying and purificationTransformer oil/ lubricating oil: Removes trace moisture from the oil to prevent insulation performance degradation or oil emulsification.Organic solvents: Such as ethanol, benzene-based solvents, for deep dehydration.Hydrogen peroxide production: Used as an adsorbent in the hydrogen peroxide working solution to remove impurities and moisture (this is a major application area of activated alumina).
C. Other applicationsFluorine remover: Activated alumina has a strong adsorption capacity for fluoride ions in water and is often used for fluoride removal in drinking water.Catalyst carrier: Although mainly used as a drying agent, its porous structure is also often used as a carrier for petrochemical catalysts.
