New pet waste cleaner and eco-friendly household products

2021-11-12

Cat litter is primarily composed of silica gel (non-toxic and non-polluting), making it an ideal, next-generation pet waste cleaner and an eco-friendly household product. Silica gel cat litter appears as white granules, is lightweight and resistant to breakage, and effectively inhibits bacterial growth.

1. Powerful antibacterial effect: The dry environment inside the litter box reduces bacterial growth.
2. Powerful odor control: Crystal cat litter effectively absorbs odors from urine and feces, keeping the air in your home fresh.
3. Long-lasting performance: A 4-pound bag of cat litter can last a single cat for more than one month.
4. Exceptional, rapid moisture absorption: Crystal cat litter can swiftly absorb your pet’s urine in a matter of seconds, with an absorption capacity exceeding 80% of its own weight while remaining visibly dry.
5. Easy to dispose of: Crystal cat litter does not clump, produces no dust, is lightweight, generates minimal waste, and leaves no residue, making it suitable for regular trash disposal; it is convenient and safe for home use.

The method is simple: just add a layer of crystal cat litter about 1.5 inches thick to a clean litter box. If you have multiple cats, shorten the litter‑changing interval proportionally—don’t overfill the box. As a guideline, for one cat, use one 3.6‑liter bag per month; for two cats, about every 15 days; and for three cats, roughly every 10 days. Remove any saturated litter promptly and thoroughly. To extend the lifespan of the crystal litter, store it in a well‑ventilated, dry place.

Type A Silica Gel—An Efficient Adsorbent Safeguarding Precision Instruments and Product Integrity

Type A silica gel, also known as fine-pore silica gel, appears as transparent or translucent granules. It is available in two forms: spherical and blocky. Its main constituent is SiO2•nH2O; it is insoluble in water and inorganic acids, but soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic soda solutions. It exhibits high mechanical strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Its internal structure features a pore volume of 0.35–0.5 mL/g, a pore diameter of 20–40 Å, and a specific surface area of ≥600 m²/g.

Characteristics and Safety Performance of silica gel Gel

Silica gel is a highly active adsorbent material, typically produced by reacting sodium silicate with sulfuric acid and subjecting it to a series of post‑treatment steps, including aging and acid leaching. As an amorphous substance, silica gel has the chemical formula SiO2·nH2O. It is insoluble in water and all solvents, non‑toxic and odorless, and chemically stable; it does not react with any substances except strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid.

Regeneration of silica gel

During use, silica gel adsorbs water vapor or other organic substances from the surrounding medium, leading to a decline in its adsorption capacity; it can be regenerated and reused.
